Meet The Team
The team at Ruff Road Revival is composed entirely of dedicated volunteers who are deeply passionate about the welfare of animals. Many of our team members balance their roles at RRR with part-time or full-time employment, yet consistently give their time and energy to our mission. We are profoundly grateful for the commitment and hard work of each individual who contributes to the success of Ruff Road Revival.
Founder & President
Mikayla Stone
Mikayla has had a deep passion for animals since childhood. With hands-on experience at multiple animal rescues and a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife Science, she has cultivated a well-rounded expertise in animal care. Her dedication extends beyond companion animals such as cats and dogs— in 2021, Mikayla traveled to South Africa to volunteer for wildlife rehabilitation, spending a month working with a wide range of species, including lions, leopards, rhinos, servals, zebras, birds of prey, and more. When she’s not volunteering, Mikayla is either enjoying quality time with her husband, two rescue dogs, and their one-year-old daughter, or working part-time as a bookkeeper.
